I found these while browsing through our local Dollar Tree.

Bought a package and brought them home to experiment. I cut the edge with a hobby knife.

I then peeled the material back from the styrofoam.

When completely removed, each pellet contains a section of grass about 5 inches long by 2 inches wide.
![[Image: grass4.JPG]](http://www.frontiernet.net/~tbohlen/grass4.JPG)
I glued them around the foundation of Drew's Deere.
![[Image: grass5.jpg]](http://www.frontiernet.net/~tbohlen/grass5.jpg)
The grass almost seems a little too green so I sprinkled some sifted sand and some Woodland Scenics Earth Blend blended turf on top.
