Unstoppable Revisited
#5
My family and I watched it in the theatre in December and really liked it.

We counted down the days down for when it was going on sale on DVD (on Feb. 15 in Canada), and we bought a copy from Costco that very day!

Since then, I have watched in 2x (3x in total) and my kids have watched it 4x (as kids have that tendency, to watch movies/shows over and over and over). I didn't get into it as much the 2nd time -- I think I was preoccupied with work! But I really got into it again the 3rd time.

Despite the language, it's a great movie -- really enjoyed it. It's one of the best train movies ever as it's one constant series of train scenes! The trains aren't incidental or occasional (as with some "train" movies) but they're constantly on view in this movie.

It even makes me want to go back to Pennsylvania -- we enjoyed an awesome train-themed trip there in 2007!

The movie also shows some good character development between Frank and Will, which usually doesn't happen that well in high-action movies.

I was surprised by how realistic it was and that it did roughly follow the real-life event, although they "Hollywood-ized" the train speed & added a few incidents, of course. The "how-they-made-it" extras are also good, and one of the main reasons to buy the DVD.
