I've grown accustomed to your abilities as a model builder ... they are extraodinary! I admire your talents.
I've come to expect that you will do field trips with the camera to document the subject matter of an upcoming model building project, and then use those photos to the utmost advantage when you sit down at the workbench. Basic research, taking some photos and at least taking a few rough dimensions of the subject matter, are both just good modelmaker practice, and I'm not at all surprized that you would do those things.
What totally amazes me is the speed at which you are able to fabricate things ... and the quality level that you are able to maintain in the process!
