So river is on back burner for a bit...
Finally got around to starting the kit.
My first impressions of this kit are wow what a ton of wood and castings, the more I read the instructions the easier they were to understand, well so far anyway.
I painted the wood or most of the wood with floquil grime then gave a soaking of A\I , didn't seem to change it much, this makes me wander if its the type of wood used in the fsm kits.
I decided to use the diorama base as a working table, I matched up the template and taped it to the wooden base then covered it with saran wrap.
I glued the mill floor beams down and next will glue down the log table.
