Well, TJ, you can put your name on the "Do not call!" list, but it appears that copies are forwarded directly to all of the call centres in India. My calls more than doubled after getting on that list, and what's equally surprising is the popularity of North American-style first names in that country, even though "Mark" and "Justin" et al can barely speak English.
Some of the ones shilling for duct cleaning get rather agitated when I tell them that I have no ducks, but if I did, I would probably clean them myself - they're usually in water anyway. When they attempt to correct my diction, I very patiently explain the local laws governing the keeping of livestock in residential areas, which often results in a language lesson from them in their native tongue. I couldn't offer a word-by-word translation, but I daresay using those words in their country, as a tourist, would probably get me locked-up.
