OK, I found how to enable/disable cookies in IE10. IE8 is the same:
1. Click Tools and select" Internet Options".
2. Click on the "Privacy" tab.
3. Turn the slider up or down for the degree you want. Full down lets you accept all cookies, including third-party ones. That's not always a bad thing though... I've got Firefox set to do just that.
4. Click on "OK"
