Hope everyone had a great day and got to enjoy some fireworks.
I live in a small bedroom community(population 400) outside Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and our town had some celebrations for the first time this year. We had a pancake breakfast, softball tournament, rib supper, bear gardens , fireworks, and even a parade. The parade was unique as it started with a firetruck, followed by about 30-50 kids on bikes decorated with flags, and lastly another fire truck. And to top it off the ball diamonds are right beside the CN mainline so we got to watch a CN freight go by about every 30 minutes.
It was a great way to spend the day,
PS I feel sorry for the folks who had to go to work this morning and are feeling a little "morning after" sickness.
