Considering that on many of these projects, only a few of us ever get 100% completed... How about for the next project we vote based on the progress presented, not the finished work? That way, someone can note feel like they can't take on a huge endeavor. I mean, bil could have entered a small kitbashed office, but instead he chose to tackle the HUGE GERN facility. I bet he did more work on what he did accomplish than if he had completed a much smaller structure. Yes, there is a lot to be said about finishing a project, but I hate to see people underwhelm their abilities just so they can get something "done". So, for the next challenge, I propose:
"Find the oldest unfinished project on your workbench, and make substantial progress."
