Hi Matt---those CNR FP9 diesels are also one of my favourites,especially in the classic green/yellow/black passenger livery.You are probably aware that Rapido Models has these locomotives in all versions from the original to latest paint schemes---I have #6538 in the original livery on my roster.Fortunately some of these locomotives have been preserved including a couple of units on the Ontario Southland Railway which is located just west of my hometown in Salford Ontario---if you google "ONTARIO SOUTHLAND RAILWAY" you can access their complete roster of locomotives.I noticed recently that the OSR is repainting one of their FP9'S into their very attractive paint scheme,similiar to the classic TH&B maroon and cream---I'm sure it will look great but a disappointment to all the CNR "nutbars"

Well, that locomotive was last painted in 1995 when it was pulling the Tortillard. I would be nice to have that touristic train on the layotu with the mountains and St. Lawrence river, but I already can tell the price would be prohibitive!!! 2 locos + about 6-8 cars...

At least, they are preserved, and this is what counts.
