Branchline power on the Leetown Division

CNR K3B Pacific (4-6-2) #5588 was ideally suited for branchline service on the Leetown Division.This class of locomotives were used in both freight and passenger service but they were preferred on passenger runs as they were fast with 73" drivers and could easily make their schedules inspite of numerous stops and starts at the many towns along the branchlines
