It shows off the repair work that was done to the steps, hand rail, and pilot after the "near miss" with the remote controlled unit at the Allentown yard.
Looks like it never happened. The only problem is, if you go by the CNJ numbering method, the 1071 is a 1,000 HP unit .

NS 1069 on coal train NS 507 at Carneys Point, NJ December 13. The railroad crew from the Co Gen plant placed a string of bad order cars on the front track preventing full side views of the engine.
Great catch charlie. The other day there was 3 or 4 heritage units that came threw my town. Sadly I didn't have my camera though.
