Home from the surgery. It was successful. However, the pain is hitting 9. Waiting for my daughter to return from the pharmacy with the pain pills.

Just a quickie, today is National Donut Day and I need to go spend a hour in line someplace to get my one free donut. Well, most places require you to buy something else, like a $5.00 cup of coffee which has way more than enough profit to cover the cost of the donut...
On second thought, I think I'll pass...

Things happen, we picked a paint chip color to have our house painted and the paint store forgot to put in one color tint. The painter had to repaint the whole house the right color... He said that the store not only replaced the paint, but gave him enough free paint to more than pay for his time. I like it when folks make things right without a fight... I hope the glasses company did the right thing too...

Been really busy between work, unpacking, and dealing with fallout from the accident so I haven’t been around too much. I’m back to work and generally feeling much better. I joined a model railroad club so I really got a good kick in the pants to get back to modelling more often now that I have a place for the models to go.
