Thanks guys.
Here's the completed boxcab with painted trucks and underframe. The was sprayed with a coat of dullcote. I don't expect to work on the wiring until next week, so the project will be on hold for a little while before I weather it. Playing with the setting sun. Matt

Matt, great work and very nice looking!
I made a short search after prototype photos and found this here - http://members.trainweb.com/bedt/indloco/errhsyard2.jpg including the base of your layout - The Harlem Station of Erie RR. on Philop M. Goldstein's Website "INDUSTRIAL, OFFLINE TERMINAL RAILROADS & RAIL-MARINE OPERATIONS OF BROOKLYN, QUEENS, STATEN ISLAND, BRONX & MANHATTAN" Matt, very nice modeling a great small layout! Or see this picture also - http://members.trainweb.com/bedt/indloco/errhs192fb.jpg and a lot more on this site above! PS. Sorry, I have seen in this moment that you linked these pages also in your signature.
Cheers, Bernd

modelsof1900 Wrote:Matt, great work and very nice looking! Thanks Bernhard, Yes, Mr. Goldstein's website was a valuable source of information when building the layout. For the sake of sanity, I decided to paint the boxcab in it's later life scheme in the mid-50s (without the stripes). Matt
