Sweet! Those are awesome tanks. Love the rivets, have to look into that tool. No idea what the pointy sticks are. Just don't run around the house with them!

Don't know what the platform is for, but did you use rail spikes for the stirups or whatever they are called?

I'd guess that the platform is for transformers, Gary. And I have to agree, it looks like rail spikes for those access pegs. Wink

Yep, yes sir. that's a transformer rack in the works. The pole steps are bent music wire. This one is modeled after one in Stepan Chemical (formerly Maywood Chemical) of Maywood NJ. When It's all finished it will have a small brick building next to it to house the switch gear and rectifier. Utility power comes in at 4,160V and stepped down to 480V at the rack before entering the shed and changed over to DC.
