Trains on this day in the past:
This seems like yesterday but it was 5 years ago already. On the PY&A 7/25/2015     Charlie
A little later on the same day---it was great to have fellow rail-fans who knew all the great spots to catch #765.

Charlie & Ed;
Is that the full train that we can see? How many coaches?

In model railroading, there are between six and two hundred ways of performing a given task.
Most modellers can get two of them to work.

I believe there were 19 cars if you count the tool car and the ns power car on the rear. They were also towing an NS locomotive in case they needed the power.

I'm pretty sure that I counted 19 cars trailing, which would jibe pretty well with the same loco pulling a 29 car train a couple of days earlier, on July 22, 2015.  Here's a link to a video of that train, which included 8 coal gondolas and a generator car, along with 19 passenger cars

I've been searching for my photos, taken at the same locales as those of Ed and Charlie, but I'm not as well organised as my friends.

On the last day of our trip to Pennsylvania in July 2015 Wayne and I spent time with Charlie and Kevin at MP44 where we were treated to steady NS action.Just before we crossed the border we had a quick stop at Hamburg NY. to check out a relic from the past.Great memories from times spent with great friends.
