The crew in the cabin car of this westbound freight at Highland (Summit) cut are more than likely huddled around the kerosene heater.  Give them a few more miles and time for the car to warm up and it will be nice and toasty in the cupola. I can bet they are hoping for an incident free trip.

January 24, 1978 Amtrak train 41, The Broadway Limited, was running 7 hours late at Market Street in east Palestine, Ohio. The siding served the lumber yard and the feed mill, both gone now. Rail service was cut long before the business' shut down     Charlie
