Greetings, gang.
53 outside my window this morning with a high only in the upper 50s later with a 50% chance of some light rain this morning.
Tom - welcome back and glad you are improving and I hope Mrs. Tom is as well.
Apparently it's national laundry machine failure week. My washer died over the weekend and the new part will be here later this week. Not a big problem as I only do laundry on Saturday. The serviceman estimate about $350. Only a couple items on the agenda for today. I need to order a new headlight for the SuperCruiser and then this afternoon is a football game for one of the great-grandsons. It's about an hour away so I will be car pooling with my granddaughter and her mother.
Gas is down yet again with prices this morning according to Gas Buddy at $2.67.
All stay safe.

Greetings, gang.
55 and foggy with a very light mist. In the last 24 hours we have received about 3/4 inch of drizzle, mist, and light rain with more on the way.
Yesterday was pretty quiet to start but then the washer serviceman called and said he had the pump. $353 later I'm back in the laundry business. In the afternoon I went to a football game with family. Fortunately it was just far enough east of town that the rain didn't catch up to us until the game was ending. Busy day ahead today. One project already underway as I charge my phone for the week. Also need to put gas in the car before the price goes down any farther. Then this evening I need to roll the trash can out to the curb. After such an exhausting day I'll need to take a couple of aspirin and go to bed early.
Gas was down another 2 cents this morning to $2.65.
All stay safe.

Cloudy now but it's supposed to clear off and get to the upper 70s later on. Currently 58.
Very quiet day yesterday and this morning looks to be the same. This afternoon I'll be heading out on a road trip with my granddaughter for a cross country track meet about an hour and a half away. Last one of the season.
All stay safe.

Greetings, gang
Clear and reasonably pleasant this morning at 61 degrees. Low to mid 70s later with some south winds to around 20 mph and possibly some sprinkles/light rain.
The Postal Service has struck again. I got nailed for a $13 late fee because the postal service didn't get my check postmarked in time. Second time this year. Track meet yesterday afternoon was entertaining but a little more demanding for both participants and observers with some nasty hills. Great-grandson did well, consistent with previous performances. This morning I need to figure out how to replace the headlight on the SuperCruiser. Both low and high beam have burnt out. Also need to round up another herd of leaves.
Gas continues to drop. Down another 4 cents to $2.61.
All stay safe.

Hello blue.
Not many entries lately so I'm checking in. We have sun and 60s for the day. This will be a lazy day, I'm waiting for Saturday football. And of course early morning cartoons. Not sure when I was out this week but I saw gas @ $2.89. Eggs in a 24 pack made them $3.00 Doz.

Clear and getting lighter outside my window this morning. 48 now going to maybe 70 by this afternoon with a 50% chance of light rain this evening.
Yesterday was certainly productive. First project was to fix the headlight on the SuperCruiser. Turns out the bulb was apparently just loose in the socket. After that I got a small batch of leaves gathered and disposed of. After lunch I took a 7 mile bike ride, during which I almost lost my cell phone. The bracket used to hold it to the handlebar broke. I was able to rescue it before it came completely off. Also got the house insurance paid for the next year. Boy, has that gone up in price! Then while I was fixing supper last night I discovered I was missing a primary ingredient which necessitated a quick trip on the SuperCruiser. No major plans for today.
All stay safe.

Hang on to your hats, gang.
Winds today and tomorrow will be in the 35-45 mph range! Temperature today in the low 60s and tomorrow in the 50s making for some nasty fall weather.
Didn't do much over the weekend. Biggest activity was a bike ride on Saturday and a rather boring F1 race on Sunday. I need to enjoy the rest of the season as Formula One is moving to Apple tv next year and I'm not paying $13 a month to watch the races. Not much planned for the week. I do need to call the dealer to schedule service on my car. Tomorrow is the last football game of the season for one of my great-grandsons but with the predicted winds I may or may not go.
Gas was down to $2.58 yesterday.
All stay safe.

Hello Blue
Sun this morning 43/60s for the day. Lots of rain Sunday. Will wait a few days and give the grass one last cut for the season. Sadly winter is coming and I can't stop it.
Last time I was out gas was $2.89.

Good evening folks
This virus thing has been hanging on and just won’t let go. I have times where I feel great and then I do something and bang I feel exhausted.
The dryer delivery and installation went off without a hitch. The dyer forced me into doing some cleaning and reorganizing the trains this weekend. I now have no boxes or stray trains lying around. I also reorganized where the bins storing the models are located. I have a few more trains to log into my inventory program and then into the proper storage spaces. Now I just need to figure out which project is next.
I worked Sunday night from 3:30 PM until 1:30 AM so that is why I am late getting here today. We switched traffic at the Fort Washington Interchange for Stage 2. We did about 75% of the work. Next Sunday night the contractor plans to finish. This will be interesting as we will be working on the Turnpike main line for the first time.
I hope everybody has a good evening.

Into our third week of this shutdown silliness. Management had me contact each of my employees yesterday to see if they were still alive or needed help (unspecified on type). It's also my 59th birthday, so I celebrated by sleeping in late and taking a hike with the dog. A couple of errands to run - need to pick up a new set of floodlights for one corner of the house. The bride's taking me out to dinner tonight.
Dropped my granddaughter and her parents off at the airport yesterday after a weeklong visit. We had the little 2-year-old princess for 2 days alone and she wiped us out. With any luck I'll be able to finish Central Camera sometime this week.

Greetings, gang.
A little chilly this morning at 35 degrees. Supposed to get to the mid 50s later on. Similar temperatures for the remainder of the week.
Fairly quiet day again yesterday. A stop at the grocery store was the highlight of the morning after a trip to the gym. I had been chatting with one lady while waiting in line when I noticed another lane was open. When I got there the cashier who I've been friendly with for quiet some time said "I thought maybe you had a new chick!" Lots of laughter as I accused her of hiding behind the display to spy on me. Gotta love small town living.
Late afternoon I went to the last football game of the season for my great-grandson. 35 mph winds and 52 degrees did not make for a pleasant experience but dinner afterwards made up for it. No other big plans for today.
Gas took a rather dramatic increase yesterday from $2.58 to $2.99. So far Walmart/Murphy oil is holding the line at $2.56.
All stay safe.
