HA! I tho9ght my friends, Frank & Gail and I were the only ones who watched "Supa-fly". I LOVE those cartoons. Gail's husband Rod came to the museum one day when I was out working in the shop and handed me a bag and said "Gail wanted me to give this to you". She had ordered one for her, one for me, one for Frank and one for Rod & Gails son over in Iraq. Gail, Frank and I like to whip out our "Supa-Fly";s in the middle of Board meetings at the museum, drives the other old codgers nuts. It cracks me up, but he needs new batteries right now. I need to take him with me next time I go to Walgreens so I can get him working again.

I ordered Gail and I matching "Monty Python Killer Bunny" slippers. Rod, Gail and Frank and I sometimes act like kids, lol, but we have a good time.

I'm Charlie, and just building a new building for my layout, as is Gary S. This will be about layout number 14.
I just retired Jan 1. I was supervisor of operations of a shortline railroad in western Pa.
The best modelers are here, but i'm one of the worst. Everyone is great here.

Only a corner is the work area. The other half is my home office, But thanks to a paperless office all cabinets are used for my model railroad stuff only

Okay guys I know I belong here given the Monty Python references, but who is Super Fly?

You would think that with the amount and size of flies we can grow here in the Land of Oz Downunder some TV exec would have imported the show but apparently not.

Part of our National Costume is a broad brimed hat with old bottle corks hanging on string around the brim to shoo the flies away, along with our Great Australian Wave also to shoo the flies away from ones face or food or babies.

We do have one famous TV fly. Louie the Fly from the Mortein Fly and Insect Spray ads.

" I'm Louie the Fly, Louie the Fly, Straight from Rubbish Tip to You,

"I'm Badder and Meaner, and Mighty Unclean, the Nastiest Fly that Youve Ever Seen"

All sung while flying into a house with a fly sized smoke hanging from his mouth and dirt and germs falling off his body.

You get the idea. He has been around on TV since I was a kid in the 70's

Mark

Exits stage right, headed for the shops singing "Louie the Fly, Louie the Fly.
