yeah, i had the opportunity to pick up a brass one in Conrail a few years ago, but i passed it up (bought sound decoders instead). Probably better off with the sound decoder, but i haven't been able to catch up with an FL9. then gain, they aren't exactly in my modeling range, but hey, they're cool

I think there is some "Bradford hobbies" (could be wrong), that sells them and the EP5s, but you have to contact them direct, which is difficult. i think they are $150 a unit, but its the whole thing, motor, frame, accurate trucks.

September 1976? So those are really Conrail units that haven't been repainted yet.
