It is also tour season in Houston. The schedule is at http://sanjac.leoslair.com/styled-5/

My layout will be on the tour November 5th and 6th. I've been doing alot of work in the layout room over the past couple of months, trying to accomplish as much as possible. That's the main reason I haven't been on Big blue much. No computer out there.... yet.

Just for the record.....in a garden railway ( aka "outdoor" ) a 5 mph breeze ( gentle, pleasant, not a problem ? ) is a scale 101 MPH gale in "G" ....I guess all the water in the pool was blown away by that wind !!!! 357 357

Well that day - the winds were gusting to 40 mph. Eek Eek It was creating havok an the railway. Plus, the owner has trees all around the yard, dropping leaves and acons (miniature scale metorites??) on the trains and people too...

I'm going to have to try and get to some of these layouts this year. I hear Bill Kachel has a very nice electrified layout, and i'm pretty sure I have a very old, very tattered print out of how to build catenary by Mr. Kachel! It will be nice to visit in person.

I might also have to raid a few other layouts in the region!

Why not take a Saturday and make a day of it. I haven't done that for several years but I might do it this year. As Mikey said toll is only one way.

Well I only went to two this past weekend. They were on Friday night. My grandson was with me and decided he should take all of the pictures. I managed to take a few. Saturday and Sunday I planned on going but life got in the way. Any way first was an HO layout.

Next is an O gauge layout

Oh I almost forgot, it is 2 rail O gauge

Well I could post more but I don't want it to get boring. I plan to post some more next week. Not to bad for a 6 year old.
