A few shots I took from the Summit ave bridge in Jersey City yesterday. Here NS runs Parallel with the Port Authority's PATH System.

Then I was off to Secaucus NJ where I found the yard drill sitting while the crew was getting lunch.

Some shots from yesterday ( 4/13/13 ) from a trip to the former CNJ yard in Allentown PA, that I took with my dad. We took a bunch of picks from the LC&N Canal toe path that is now a walking path.

The Black on NS can get boring, but a couple of moody shots in a thunderstorm of a westbound coal train with helpers is a little different.

Nice photos, Charlie ! Almost (not quite) makes me nostalgic for the rails and the right seat on one of these...a damp and misty "Thanks !" Bob C.

I think your visitor may have brought the rainy weather with him from his hometown 357--- Still much better railfanning than around this area
