Don't feel bad, I had to ask the same question last year. 35

And all along I thought that the "B" stood for something else. Eek Oh, well, as Emily Litella would have said, "Never mind." Misngth Misngth

35 35 35 Icon_lol Little Plastic Bas ... um ... Beings.  Why couldn't I figure that out? It was too simple, I guess. My daughter's mother used to tell me the reason she beat me at Scrabble all the time was that I didn't know any small words - I did, but that would have been too simple. 357

"Emily Litella," was that the name of Gilda Radner's character on SNL? She was always good for a laugh! Thumbsup

When I need a break form the CLC's, I'm going to attack a Jordon Vehicle and ... Icon_twisted perform some surgery on a couple PLB's! 357

It does on my layout. My LPBs came out of an injection molding machine. Their parents weren't married. :geek:

The term " LPB " goes back a long way in Big Blue history.
At one time there was a long dissertation on what the "B" stood for. "L"ittle, and "P"lastic, were always realtively well understood.

I wonder if I could get my Life Like LPBs to fit in my Dodge Vipers, or if I should just have them parked together...if I ever get far enough to put roads in

I dunno if I'd put LPBs in a Viper - maybe just sitting in one that's parked, but I was just reading in Car and Driver about Vipers and an issue with hot cabins. Eek LMBs, the em word being Melted. Misngth Misngth

They have been like that since their beginning, they still haven't notice the exhaust heats up the foot wells and floor pans like a oven

Hey, I've sat in a few, and many years ago as a porter at a Chrysler dealer got to move a few around the lot, and as long as you're careful they won't burn you. And yes, they have had the problems with heat since day 1, that comes with such a low car where the exhaust is run down the sidesills of the car rather than under it. Sure does make it fun to get in and out.

Oh, and if you can't tell, I'm a huge Viper nut

No! Really? 357 357 Actually, I have to give Chrysler credit (wait, the government did that Misngth ) for coming out with the Viper in the first place, and it is an impressive vehicle. I'm kinda partial to that other "snake" car, too, although I wouldn't trade my current ride for either. Wink
