It could handle almost any sort of traffic.
I need a small-ish transportable layout and this seems an ideal proto-based concept - the overbridge in the plan below is fictional and hides the sector plate which is shown in its 3 positions. It will probably consist of a 4' board and a bolt-on 2' skeleton board for the fiddleyard or , possibly, a plug-in fiddle-stick . with a pivot in each case
