Good morning and a Happy Halloween to you all. Thanks again for all the prayers and concerns. I'm resting a whole lot, sleeping when I don't normally sleep. Slept for 12 hours one night, but still have a ways to go.
We had two shootouts the other night, a total of five officers were wounded, all doing OK, two purps are no longer with us however. Why anyone would try to shoot it out with armed officers is beyond comprehension. The media is questioning why would they stop of fleeing vehicle on a crowded freeway and enter into a shootout..... That's an easy answer, because they saved lives at the risk of their own.
I'm still checking in occasionally, I'll start posting more often when I can....
