Good morning everybody, not much going on this way. A spike in the virus has some on edge, a few restaurants are closing again because of that. I sure hope Brenda's Kitchen is open, we're planning on going there for breakfast.

Got a number of wildfires going right now, a few causing evacuations, we have two that are pushing 40,000 acres, one with zero containment, the other around 30%.

Temps today just about normal, low 100's. One TV channel always seems a lot higher, others show 102, 103, they're saying 106. We are expected to go above 110 next week. Could be 109, possibly 112. Yesterday was the official start of our, "monsoon" season. It used to be that the first day was when the dew point hit 55 five days in a row, now they just pick June 15th and go with that. Either way, this is the time for those, "50% chance of rain" forecasts since a storm can pop up out of nowhere late in the afternoon. One minute, clear skies, the next, a huge dust storm (now called a "haboob") is baring down on you followed by flooding rains. That surely doesn't sound like the dry heat we always talk about.
