Well, it's been a while, but understandable with the holidays and other things keeping me occupied, but I did manage to finish the DPM kit.
There's a new addition to my layout, I thought I had the perfect spot for it, but it just won't fit without major reconstruction and the town won't give me a building permit thanks to the objection of the Canyon State RR. Something about encroachmentÂ
.... So, the folks that want to turn that old store into a French hotel will have to find a different location. Meanwhile, L'Hotel Hante is built and no one seems to want it in their neighborhood. I don't speak French, but I think I understand enough to understand why, especially after seeing the sign on the side of the building. I'm thinking "tourist attraction", the mayor says, "get out of town and stay there", so plenty of room elsewhere and the townsfolk will regret doing that.
