Gus---welcome to the "Mike Fraternity"
---looking forward to lots more shots of #811
Thanks CN...Mike's have to be one of the most appealing engines around. They seem to have struck just the right balance between pulling capacity vs. size.
Gotta love'em....
Your new Mike turned out really well, Gus.
Kudos to you for tackling that job.
Wayne
Thanks Wayne. I can honestly say I wouldn't have done as well as I did without your generous help.
BTW....You'll note I didn't put on the number boards. I spent close to 2 hours trying to place ONE numeral decal into a board, before I gave up...I'd reached my patience limit....

I'm always glad to be able to help out a fellow modeller, Gus.
As for the number boards, if it's any consolation, I always wear an Opti-Visor when working on trains, and, for some jobs, use a jeweller's loupe and
always, plenty of light.

Lutz---thanks for adding the pictures of your Mike
---I always enjoy seeing other member's locomotives
Hello Everyone---here's a shot of the engineer's side of S-1-D 3377
Hello again --- another view of 3377.Gus,when are you going to post another shot of 811 :hey:
Hello---time to feed the hungry beasts
This is the only Mikado I own. It's an ancient Mantua that was probably made in the 60's. Not sure about that. It needs a new motor. It'll run but it's very slow and makes the devil's own noise when it's moving.
Jeff,
I had that very same loco many moons ago..It was such a terrible runner I sold it. It's the only MR'ing item I've ever gotten rid of....
Hello Everyone---S-1-A Mike #3239 makes a rare appearance
