Hmmmmmmm, Ya know......That hill out back ?, the one the Dowser said there'd be water under ?,
the one that the well driller dug down about a mile 'fore you had the dowser come back to find a new location? --------- :o
You set that "Privvy" 'top that old well, ( yeah I know it would be a long cold walk in the winter ) and you won't have to dig again......EVER !!

Here are the final pics of the finished diorama as it stands today. She has yet to find some appropriate wildlife for the forest, but other than that she's done.
The fascia is painted:
The railroad crossing signs are complete with text:
And the outhouse has found its spot near the fishing shack:
She's allready started planning her next project, and is learning XtrkCad to make her own track plan for her basement layout

Svein,
The work that I can see is very impressive! Unfortunately, mostly what I see (9/10 images) is this:

Any idea why?

That's strange. That is my stop sign allright, I made it to prevent hotlinking to my pics from other domains, but Big Blue is listed in the "allowed" domains, so it shouldn't show up here. You're not using a Mac by any chance, or a Quick Time plugin to view pics..?
Can you see this pic?:
How about the direct URL, does it show when you click on the link?:

Hi Svein,
Apparently it's a Firefox issue. I can see everything with Chrome, no problem, but Firefox shows the box, even in the direct link.

Hmm, it's still very strange, I use Firefox and have never had any problems, nor have I heard of any other having this problem...
I've made some changes in the Hotlink protection settings, does it work now? (you may have to delete the cached pics, or view another page of this thread)

It's not mine to post. ( That's a great shot of the shack, and the outhouse!!! ) The issue, I believe, is not with firefox.
This might not be the clearest picture, but....one way to keep the water from creeping ( wicking ) up the tall grasses/reeds,
is to plant them after the water has dried.....just a thought.[attachment=11079]

Pete, that's a nice tip, thanks! This was her (and mine too) first attempt building scenery, and the process is very much "learning by doing" right now, but it's always great to pick up some pointers along the way

I still do learn by doing.
However, "it's always great to pick up some pointers along the way "
that's why my signature reads- - -
" We always learn far more from our own mistakes, than we will ever learn from another's advice. --
Lead me not into temptation.....I can find it myself!" ------------------
- but a little help here or there is still appreciated.
