Great picture Charlie---it reminds me of a couple of other Canadians who have also been seen hanging around Rochester Big Grin
Here's one that's here with a permanent work permit. I hope someday they can make her run again.
This was taken just east of Lowellville, Ohio in May of 1977. They were returning home after two weekend excursions around the Horseshoe Curve with the T-1 2102.

Charlie---another great picture from your outstanding collection Thumbsup Number 4070 is a 1918 Alco built USRA Mikado which served on the Grand Trunk Western and Canadian National Railway as number 3734---it was renumbered to 4070 in 1957 and has remained in existence as an excursion locomotive .I asked my good friend Doctor Wayne to create this locomotive for me starting with a standard light USRA Mike.At that time,I requested the locomotive be equipped with an Elesco feedwater system even though this appliance was never used on this engine. Here's a picture of the engine as CNR 3734 when she worked the Leetown Division during the 1950's.

Nickel Plate 765 at the end of the climb eastbound at Summit Cut heading for Homewood Junction where she will turn on the "Y" and head back west.
I think this was May of 1984.

Almost thirty years after Charlie's photo was taken, she is still a sight to behold---wouldn't it be nice if we aged as gracefully
