Mikey:
Thanks for again running the league. As always it has been fun.
One idea that was talked about during the season, and I do not know if you can control it, but if we have 8 players, it would be nice to limit the number of drivers per player to 5. Four for race day and one extra. That would take up 40 drivers and leave a couple of drivers to swap out. When we each have 6 drivers, that takes 48 and depending on the luck of the draw, we really don't pick the draft, you might have no where to go. A couple of times, teams were not able to field a full slate of drivers; three of their drivers were out and all the others were on a team. Of course we could do some real swapping around if we each had four dirvers, used three in a race. That would only take 32 drivers to fill out the teams and could interject some meaningful swaps. Just a thought.
Thanks again for all you did.... Thumbsup

Wow. I'm surprised that NASCAR has just let Hendricks dominate like this. It's not even really a competition anymore. It's too bad really, watching the same guys win each week just becomes boring. I think we should go back to STOCK car racing.

Anyway, thanks for running the league, it was fun.

Thanks for taking the time to run the league.

I will definitely be back next year.
Thanks for the racing fun guys.
I got to see almost the entire season from the back of the pack which gave me a much better view than you guys up front.
Nice bit of history making with JJ taking his 4th.
Joey Logano will dominate next year...just wait.

Tony.

The last STOCK car to run in NASCAR was back in the early 1950's. When you install a roll cage it ceases to be a stock car, but I don't think I would trade the safety of the tube frame cars for a stock car or even a modified stock car. Also, nobody has built a stock car with a carburetor for 20 years, and NASCAR is not going to let cup crew chiefs have electronic fuel injection! The difference between winning and losing with the C.O.T. design is so close that a slight miss anywhere in the set up moves a car from top ten to bottom ten. Hendrick's teams just did a better job this year. In 2008, Roush and Childress were both close. I expect to see Roush and Childress competitive next year, as well as the guys who were there this year. I see the potential for the top 20 to be fighting for those top 12 spots going into the chase, maybe even the top 25 in the fight.
Anyone interested in NASCAR Fantasy 2010?????

I'll be getting the e-mail in the next week or so, I guess.... Big Grin
Count me in! I would like to reserve Jeff Burton, if possible.

Looks like NASCAR is going to stop"winging it". Going back to the spoiler after the March test at Charlotte.
That should make things interesting.

Count me in again with martin

Is it still the general consensus to "split" the game into two separate games, so rhar more drivers become available during the season??

I'll still post the overall standings here as one list, so nothing will chamge there....

For example, as it's split above. The 2 lists will be in separate leagues. But on the new thread, I'll list them by points all together on one list like last year.
I'm in, and will go with whatever you guys decide with splitting/not splitting the league... I would like to reserve Kasey Kahne if you please Goldth
Hi Mikey:
Please refer to my Jan 14 email.....I would like to keep Jimmie Johnson.
Thanks.

Mikey:
I can go either way....splitting the groups or not. At least in splitting, we get an opportunity to change drivers. Some times last year, we had no choices at all and one or more of our alternate drivers were not even in the race as a possible change.
