More ducting

I am all ways totally in awe with your craftsman ship and the speed of your work.  Just remember, I look at everything you do even though I don't post often about it. Positive proof your work leaves me speechless.

I'm with my good friend Charlie on this, Reinhard.  I follow your threads just to watch how quickly you pull things together and make those really good-looking scenes come to life.  I don't always comment, either, but it's always a pleasure to watch you work, and to see your latest creation.

Thanks a lot for the kind words.
A CSAO local serves the industry after the last palm tree has been retired. Generic layouts make the little switch easy.

You must earn your living as a magician, or you were one in a former life. Your scenes are pure magic.

Got two LifeLike CR GP38-2 to be used with CSX around 2005. 16 SMD LEDs, 12 4k6 resistors, two Tsunami 2, some decals and some paint created two "Oldies but Goldies".

The LL drives are in perfect condition. No split axis and no honey in the gear boxes. A nice surprise from eBay.

Thanks again for the kind words. But I failed again to fade the CR blue. All "save" methods with light colored washes fail and I have not the guts to try proposed none reversal fading techniques with oil paints...... Nope
Sweet looking ex CR GP38-2s.. I love the photo of CSAO Geep 38-2s.

CR used GP38-2s on their Marion, Ohio based local operations. Today CSX uses different engines from GP38-2s to SD70s for the same operation..
Overgrown but fully functional tracks are easy to make with grasmats at the sides of the track and fine turf on the ties. In this case Heki 163 Wildgras and Woodland T1344 Burnt Gras. Long static grass has a tendency to get on the rail heads and cause trouble.

Reinhard,Nice touch on the between the rail weeds.. A lot of modeled industry track looks like a main line instead of a industrial sidings.
Weeds, spills, pieces of wood from broken pallets, dirt covered ties, pieces of banding all make a industrial siding realistic.
A dumpster left to close to the track can be found from time to time.. Usually we had enough room to squeeze by but, there was o times we had to wait until a forklift push the offending dumpster out of the way.
Larry, I will stuff various things in an old coffee grinder and distribute that junk. One of the many details to be done.
It is not a black Friday! It is a high hood Friday :-)

Some older NS GP38-2 Genesis models with added Tsumani sound decoders and LEDs.

I love those High Hood GP38s and GP38-2s. I have two Atlas NS HH GP38s..
Started a cold storage project made from foam board. Let's see how the layout evolves. The inspiration came from Milwaukee. I used a simple side wall for a start. https://goo.gl/maps/YcQrmJC5CiNFs5Zp6 .

All walls in place and painted with diluted Heki 6600 concrete over light gray primer from the rattle can.
