I have a section of layout with about 6 inches from backdrop to the track. Im thinking of making it be the back side of a row of city shops. Kinda not sure how to though. Its less than 24" from the aisle, so its in close sight and would probably need some good detail, so I dont want to do a picture background, but dont want to buy any building kits just to use the back sides either... any suggestions or pictures of things anyone else has done?
