Posting Photos

Well then Pete, how about a blow by blow description of how to post a picture directly into a post ??
I have several pics which might interest members but I'm not going to experiment and have text only posts with silly blank picture areas or error codes or whatever.

I'd like to post jpg's directly from my hard drive to whatever post I happen to be making at the time.
