Ed, great pictures, but don't forget to take shots from the other side of those billboards, those ads will be something to see in the coming years.
I missed too many of them, but do have one of gas at 89 cents, and a new 78 Buick for $4395 or something like that

Hello again---I caught an interesting combination rolling through Bayview today
Hello Everyone---I caught this westbound train heading through Kinnear Yard today. The locomotives were SD-40-2's,including SD40-2F #9014.I wish I could have got a clear shot of #9014 but the train was stopped and this was the best I could do.
Nice catch Ed, I sure hope you get another chance at it sometime soon.

Hello Everyone---back in the early eighties my wife Sharon and I visited my brother Danny when he lived in Langley, British Columbia.Danny knew I was a train nut and through a mutual friend who worked for the Canadian Pacific,he arranged a tour of CP's yard in Vancouver.I found some photos of that memorable day---here's one of me in the cab of one of the newer SD40-2F locomotives---check out the number of this unit, look familiar ???---check my previous posting :o :o :o
Hi Ed, you need to make connections so you can remake that photo....
(I won't mention mustache or hair dye)

Hello Everyone---a cold and sunny day here today,a good day for some railfanning.Things didn't start that well as I just missed an east-bound train heading out of Kinnear yard as I drove along Lawrence Rd.Maybe my luck would change as I headed out to Bayview---I spotted the tail end of a freight train sitting in the Stuart St. yard and hurried out to York Blvd---just in time.
Next a quick stop at Laking Gardens and caught a westbound Via
Heading home I stopped at Stuart St. again, there were some colourful covered hoppers that caught my eye---fresh from the National Steel Car Company heading to western Canada
There was also a Raillink GP9 sitting in the yard
My last stop was Kinnear yard, just in time to catch this west bound freight stopping for a crew change
It turned out to be a pretty good day afterall

You're right, David. The first time I saw the "map" paint scheme, I thought that the paint had peeled off, revealing grey primer.

Here's a shot of another CN diesel showing the CN North America logo---I still think the 2673 has fire damage
Boy, you can see the difference that reversing 2 digits made on that big red thing.
