It doesn't look like you had anymore sun than I did today, but you made a good catch and had a chance to get out.
Charlie
The good news is that the 2262 is still at Kinnear Yard---the bad news is that I still can't get some good unobstructed pictures
A couple of rare GMD-1's were the yard power at Aldershot's yard today
Ghosts from the past---unfortunately all the items in this photo are just fond memories---the picture of the diesel, turntable and the roundhouse was taken at the Hamilton TH&B engine facililites on Chatham St. back in the early 80's---even the TH&B Railway no longer exists.
Hello---here's another picture of CP GP20C-ECO 2262 at Kinnear Yard---it's hard to believe that this diesel started out as a GP9
It was one of the nicer days today (only minus 5 celsius) and with another snow advisory for tomorrow,I thought I'd take a run out to Bayview.I didn't stay long but caught this eastbound freight with a Central Illinois SD70 in the 3 unit consist.
Nice to see that "the hackey" hasn't carried you away completely.
That photo is the first time I noticed the switch heaters - at least they're getting used this winter.

CP Rail GP38-2 #3015 in the "Pac man" paint scheme waits for her next assignment at Hamilton's Kinnear Yard.
Over at Wentworth St.,SD40-2 #5946 leads a container train west through the city.
A little later another freight train is spotted on Lawrence Rd. heading east
CP Rail GP38AC #3015 is currently one of the diesels working the Kinnear Yard in Hamilton. This locomotive was built in 1971 and is still in her original Multimark paint scheme
Nice shot, but what is all that white stuff. I was able to wash the truck and the car today. nice and sunny and 40 degrees. Rain tomorrow hee, but supposed to be nice on Sunday

Yesterday was a really nice day (plus 7 celcius) and the action at Bayview was pretty good too.I was lucky to catch a couple of rare locomotives---GTW GP38-2 6225 and CN GP40-2 9592
Hey..!! You live in train-watcher's paradise..!! I'm lucky to hear the whistle way off in the distance at night as the little S-2 switches out a couple of cars out of the port of Brownsville...
All that snow reminds me of my days in Wisconsin....
Keep up the good work..!!
Thanks Gus---Hamilton is a good area for railfanning but it's Charlie who lives in train watcher's paradise
