  Latest locomotive
Posted by: Ralph - 12-12-2008, 06:23 PM - Forum: HO Modeling - Replies (12)

I was browsing my local hobby shop and noticed they had three Athearn blue box F7s in various road names on sale. I decided to buy myself an early Christmas present and purchased one in Northern Pacific livery. Since it was mostly black already it was easy to convert it to a Penn Central F unit. Most of my locomotives are pretty dusty and road weary but I think I'll keep this one shiny clean.

  Posting Photos
Posted by: Sumpter250 - 12-11-2008, 12:45 PM - Forum: Sumpter250 - Replies (11)

I like the procedure for posting photos here. It took a bit to become familiar with the process, but I find it friendlier than most others, and much easier to add photos and mix text. For a "Non-PC" ( in more ways than just computers) person, the process is quite intuitive, and easy to figure out. Thumbsup Thumbsup Cheers

  Watch out! Black & whites!

No, the police aren't coming to get you... (should they be?) but rather I thought it'd be neat to see some black and white pictures of your favorite rail scene... or any scene for that matter. Let's see 'em!
If I start, we'll have nowhere to go but up! Big Grin This is one of my favorites... A Challenger sitting next to the tail end of a Zephyr.

Is there a quote plus button somewhere. It makes it so you can grab quotes from multiple threads before entering/editing a new or existing post.
If there's not, is it too terribly difficult to add?

I tried to add the exact same picture directly above it's twin. I compared pathnames and they are identical. However, when I submit or preview, I get, "It was not possible to determine the dimensions of the image."
It was working before... can you look into it please?
For that matter, I can no longer upload anything within the correct parameters without getting that message AND, I can not link to anything in the gallery without the same message.
I'd post a screenshot example but I can't get it to upload! :o
I'll try photobucket here in a sec.

Railroad jokes... everybodies got one. Let's hear yours.

What's the difference between a school teacher and a railroad conductor?
One trains the mind, the other minds the train.
