It's a benefit of being retired, having a very understanding wife, and being close to the tracks.

Nice catch Todd, I was hoping it would make it this far west but they pulled it from the train at Conway, then sent it east.
Charlie
Thanks Charlie. I wondered why you didn't catch it.

Gus, that is the NS business train. Most of the moves it makes it's empty, it is just a company hotel when it is on location, the management usually flies to the destination.
It makes annual trips to various sporting events and railroad expo's. this trip it went to Chicago for several days.
It goes to the Kentucky Derby, and many golf tournaments too.

I am on the main line Pittsburgh to Chicago via Cleveland so we have it routed through here quite often. Some times I have a tip, and sometimes we are lucky. I think it has been by twice while Ed (cn nutbar)and Wayne were visiting and we didn't know it was coming. A nice surprise when that happened.

It is a beautiful train. I had the opportunity to ride it when it was Conrail. We were seated in the theater car. It isn't the most comfortable seat you can have, but the view from the rear is outstanding.[attachment=14964]
