Rembering Bil (bil) Marsland .... P5se Camelback
Hi All:
Just a Special Note on the Tour Car and the pictures from here in Florida that I posted.
I am sure many of you remember Bil (bil) Marsland also know as P5se Camelback and his many contributions to this forum. Bil was a member of our club and he got me to participate in the N Scale Car Tour. Bil had also requested to be part of the HO Car Tour. Unfortunately, as many of you know, Bil passed away in May before the car was able to makes its way to him. I asked ngauger if I could accept the car in place of bil and take it for a tour of our club layout. ngauger of course said "yes". I am very pleased to be able to have the car on our layout and to do it in memory of bil.

Awesome layout and pictures! Excellent work by your club! We will not soon forget Bil.
What an excellent tour Dwight!
And we thank you for running the car in memory of bill. That was a nice gesture.

Wow, I've been away from the forum for some time, and was thoroughly enjoying your layout tour (awesome scratchbuilt stations!) when I got to the end and read about Bill passing away. I had no idea and am stunned. Although I never met him I thought I'd hook up with him someday on my annual trip to south Florida (east coast). Much like we kick ourselves for not taking pictures of structures or other rr related items before they're gone, I just never thought of it in terms of human life. My belated condolences to his family and friends. Thanks Dwight for the trip.
Great Pics and I like all the scratchbuilt buildings too!!! Very glad you took the time to honor Bil in the trip through the beautiful layout too!!
What a great tribute to him and all the work the club put into the layout!!

That's an awesome layout..!!
I'm sure biL was having as much fun looking over your shoulder as we did looking at the pics...
I guess it is my turn. This is a back up car, as apparently the original is lost. It is first seen in a westbound freight.
You know cars can go over mountains but trains must go around or through them, in this case around allowing me to get ahead of it.
now it is dropped at J&M RR.
about an hour or maybe an hour and a half later I hear a Shay coming.
And they are gone. Next time it is seen is at E.G.P. Sawmill. Apparently it has some new machinery on it. After unloading the machinery it is reloaded with some wood.
The next time it is seen is awaiting a pick up by the C&O with a few other cars.
The next stop is at Gills Furniture company.
The wood is unloaded and furniture is loaded. Now it is put in with some empty coal cars in route to Crooked Creek where it will be set out at a small interchange track with the PRR.
Sorry you had to go with the substitute car Les, but it seems your road can handle any consignment and do it well! Great photos!

Good to see the BB&G is rolling once again. Nice pics..
I received the replacement car because of an open house I had. If you were following the open house thread you know that I had some power problems and it got stalled in an area that WAS hard to reach and sat there for much of the day. That is now very easy to reach.

Sorry I am having trouble posting pics this morning
I like the new car. I have a diesel and a caboose ready and waiting for it.
