Good morning folks

It is a raw 32 with a high of 37 with a chance of snow showers. Wind is pushing the wind chill into the low 20’s.

This was the job site about 8:45 this morning. As you can see we had a snow squall push through.

Once the sun came out the snow disappeared but not the cold wind.

I got home later than I planned yesterday. First off the subcontractor worked later than expected. I then had to deal with an incompetent and/or lazy pharmacist who kept telling me that my wife’s allergist did not send in a prescription. After persisting with her for about 30 minutes I finally got her to look at her faxes and lo and behold there were three prescriptions for the same medication with the first being sent at 10 AM and the last at 5 PM. This pharmacist went the entire day not checking for prescriptions sent by fax. She is not a regular pharmacist. She fills in for the regular pharmacists who are awesome and why we drive several miles out of our way to got there. Both have probably saved my wife several trips to the ER or worse by tracking down needed medication or finding substitutes.

I then had to go to PetSmart, and the grocery store. When I got home, I took a shower and ate. By then it was nearly 8 PM. I took a couple of bins of Thanksgiving decorations down to the basement and threw some clothing in the dryer. Before I knew it was bed time. As a result no modeling was done.

Tonight I hope to do some modeling after I start with the outdoor Christmas decorations.

I hope everybody has a good day.
Good late morning, temps reasonable, mid-70's through Friday, than 60's and maybe rain. Nope Tom, not willing to trade, that's why we endured all that heat this summer.

Filled  up this morning for $3.19 at Sam's Club, the lowest it's been in probably two years. Lowest prices in Arizona are still well under $3.00 and are south on I-10 and in Tucson. Still got one station up on US-60, they dropped a dollar down to $3.99. Glad I have no reason to go to California, looks like they're still in the $5.00 +/- range.

Nothing much else going on this way right now. Looked for any sales on snow shovels and snow blowers and everyone is completely out of stock. No clue why, I might have to borrow one from Tom or Charlie. I'll let you guys know.

Have a great day, have fun and stay safe.
Greetings, gang.

It's actually warmed up overnight. When I went to bed last night it was 25. Now it's up to 27 and heading for the mid 40s. Should be a decent day for the end of November.

With the mild weather today I'll be putting the bikes and grill in the shed and getting the snow blower out. Included in that will be draining the gas tank on the mower and servicing the snow blower - lube, oil change, fill the tank, and test run it..

Gas was down to $2.62 at Walmart/Murphy oil but $2.79 at the place that tries to gouge everyone.

All stay safe.

Tom
Good morning all, not much to talk about, temps hit 78 yesterday, still looks like a good chance of rain late Thursday and Friday. Can't believe that no two forecasts are close, chances of rain in Friday vary from 24% to 60%, and I think the TV lady gave it a bit higher.

No change in gas except more stations are getting below $3.50, except that one up on US-60 that insists his gas is worth $4.00. I guess it is if you run low on your way to Wickenburg, but otherwise, it's a trap.

I hope everyone has an enjoyable day. My granddaugher (Pat's daughter) was suppose to have her baby delivered yesterday, but our medical system was as screwed up as usual, and so she may go back today. The baby is getting too big so they want to force labor ahead of time. Say a prayer if you would that all goes well.
Greetings, gang.

Partly cloudy and 30 on this last day of November. Supposed to get to around 40 today. Surprisingly it got to 53 yesterday.

The weather was nice enough that I quickly and comfortably got the summer and winter toys switched around. That should keep the snow at bay for a while anyway. I also went to the gym yesterday but swimming laps immediately caused problems for my shoulder. Not sure what to do next. In other news I got a package delivered yesterday and the delivery driver managed to put it under the only spot on the front steps that was dripping due to snow melt. Sometimes ya just gotta wonder.

Gas was up to $2.89 everywhere yesterday.

Prayers for Don's granddaughter and soon to be great-grandchild.

All stay safe.

Tom
Good news, great-granddaughter arrived around 8:00 last night by induced labor, 10 pounds, 11 ounces, and she has more hair than I do. No name yet, but thanks for the prayers.

Temps expected to drop into the mid-60's today, good chance of rain tonight and tomorrow. We'll take what we can get.

Costco and Sam's holding at $3.19, most stations creeping down to as low as $3.29, on Cheveron station in Scottsdale at $2.99, not worth driving there to save about $1.50, spend twice that in gas to get there. Then there's the lines...

Take care, have a fun and safe day. Actually went to Walmart, found a decent parking space and easy checkout...
Hello Blue
Sun and 40 this morning. Yes it was below freezing overnight. Home from the Peeoligist, says the echo shows I have more stones. Most are small but one is 7mm, same size as the one they just blasted out of me. Watching Animal House, No plans for going out again today. Bought gas @ $3.09. Some are still @ $3.39.

S.J. My father had a bladder stone. The Dr had him go through a strainer, in case he passed the stone and didn't notice. He was pretty sure he'd notice one that size.
The snow from 2 days ago has now almost entirely disappeared.
Good morning folks

The current temperature is 35 with a high of 47 degrees.

It as been a busy week at work. We had two concrete pours which meant I was out in the cold and wind for extended periods of time. Today should be a easy day as the concrete contractor has their Christmas party so they will not be onsite.

This weekend we will be working on Christmas decorations, both inside and outside. We also must try to get the outside furniture put in the garage. I plan on continuing to organize and inventory my unbuilt kits.

I hope everybody has a good day.
Greetings, gang.

Cool and cloudy this morning in the remote reaches of northern Iowa. 23 now going to maybe the upper 30s by this afternoon. The NWS is claiming back to the 50s by next week.

It's been pretty quiet around here this week. I have found that sitting in the steam room for a few minutes after swimming really seems to help my shoulder. Today is basketball at 11 and 1. As usual laundry is also on the agenda.

The gouging gas station gave in and dropped its price to match the one across the street. Both were at $2.83 when I was out yesterday.

All stay safe.

Tom
We upset our whole schedule and went out to see the Santa Claus parade today. There were a couple of preliminaries -- one was the Santa run where a lot of people of a range of ages "ran" the parade route dressed as Santa. Who would have guessed there were that many costumes in Guelph.
Then the parade The events started at 4:55 with the parade starting at 5:30. We walked backwards along the route, then backstreets to the car.
Good morning all, a bit chilly out right now, 44 heading to the high 60's. The TV lady says we could be in the 80's later this week, which is good since we plan on going target shooting on Thursday.

We also had a parade yesterday, the APS electric light parade. APS is as you might have guessed, our electric company. It is impressive, every entry in the parade, be it a float, a vehicle or a person, is decked out in lights. Thank God for LED's. I don't go to parades or any mass gatherings anymore. No kids at home, too old to park blocks away. Got to remember, the distance you can walk is inversely proportional to your age. Someone in the neighborhood usually enters the parade, a pickup truck pulling a small float all lit up. They will drive all through the area very slowly with music and lots of kids following and folks getting out of their house to look. Call it a mini-parade.

That's it for now, gas is getting down in the $3.34 range, a few stations further away are in the low $3.00. Hope you all have a fine day, take it easy and enjoy the time.
Hello Blue.
Early morning fog is gone. It's between a mist and lite rain now. Hi will be in the 40s.
Our club had an open house that I did not attend, Some U-Tubers did show and liked what they saw on how our club is run.
Today will be football and a nap.
