I finally got enough vegetation between the tree portal and the bridge to take a picture.
Looking good Master Mike.

That's a nice shot! I've probably said this before but the way your scenery meshes with your backdrop photo makes your layout seem to stretch for miles! I can hear those diesels rumbling in the valley!
That's what I call a mountain! Looking good and best of, dwarfing trains just like they should! Nice job blending everything together, from foreground to photo backdrop.

Backdrop? I don't have a backdrop.
Thanks Matt!
I finally did something, I took a picture!
As far as getting any modeling done..................................

That picture shows a lot of nice work, from the time you started until you got behind the lens. Two thumbs up.

Great Shot !!!!.....

almost "unbearably" detailed......
almost, because the "Bear" managed to sneak in, as you took the photo.
As I recall, from my visit, the mountain texture rises all the way up to the skyline ! :o :o
It was one of the many impressive details in that layout.
This was a really good day:[

Great photo Mike, really atmospheric
I feel your pain though, I've not had time to do any modelling for about a month
Cheers,
Kev

I can see why that was a great day. Anytime you can get to visit with the likes of Pete, (I notice the CH car as well) it's got to be a great day for you both.

For sure Don! And if you keep an eye out while railfanning in this area you will see those cars are still earning their keep.
